You receive a fraudulent e-mail

If you receive an e-mail from the bank in which you need to click on a link to our web site or to My Degroof Petercam, always check if the URL of the page you land on begins with “https” and contains degroofpetercam.com. The “s” stands for “secured”, or “secure”. By clicking the padlock icon at the top of the browser window, you can check whether the certificate of the Web page has been obtained in name of the bank.

The bank will never ask you to provide bank information other than your user name via e-mail or via our website or My Degroof Petercam.

If the website on which you land is not secure or asks you to enter your banking information, immediately close the browser window and call our Digital Care team on 0800 20 216. Warning: it is possible that you will be asked for the serial number of your Digipass or the unique code generated by the Digipass in order to identify you personally, but only if you call the above-mentioned number yourself.

You must enter your bank details when you log on to My Degroof Petercam

The bank will never ask you to provide bank information other than your user name and password via My Degroof Petercam.

If you are asked to enter other data, close the browser window immediately and call our Digital Care team on 0800 20 216. Warning: it is possible that you will be asked for the serial number of your Digipass or the unique code generated by the Digipass in order to identify you personally, but only if you call the above number yourself.

You receive a fraudulent phone call

Employees of the bank will never ask you to disclose your bank details by phone. If this happens, terminate the call immediately and call our Digital Care team on 0800 20 216. Warning: it is possible that you will be asked for the serial number of your Digipass or the unique code generated by the Digipass in order to identify you personally, but only if you call the above number yourself.

You get an unusual display during your session My Degroof Petercam

The bank will never ask you to provide bank information other than your user name via e-mail or via our website or My Degroof Petercam.

Do not click on links and delete the e-mail from every folder in your mailbox.
